I am hearing from a lot of my friends who are living overseas that they plan to invest in US real estate in over the next year. Hopefully this will help with the recovery in the housing market.

I heard of real estate investment groups buying stacks of properties, mostly distressed or REO. So there are some big players out there who are banking on RE in the USA going north soon.
